It’s never too late to pursue your dreams.
I often feel like I’m running a solid decade behind schedule.
While other artists took the opportunity to seek deep and discover their path in life in their 20s, I’m just getting around to it now.
Like I’m sitting here fiddling around, trying to determine whether I prefer warm tones or cool; should I continue pursuing acrylic palette knife paintings or settle more solidly into the world of watercolor?
Big questions in the studio.
Part of me is glad, though: life grows richer as it goes on. Perhaps some of us need the extra time and space to fully ignite that special love for our own unique path in life.
Whatever the back story, I’m here now. Drawing. Dreaming. Creating. Living. It’s what my soul has been begging me to do for some time. It’s about time I listened.
